Inspired by a recent journey through Iceland, Terra Notata—Latin for "land marked"—is a vivid abstraction of nature's choreography. As skies blaze over glaciers and lava fields, Chitakshi captures the emotional residue of a place where elemental forces meet.
Through textured layers and sweeping strokes, the work evokes not a landscape remembered, but one deeply felt—where colour becomes both map and memory.

About the Artist:
Chitakshi S. is a multidisciplinary artist and architect based in Chandigarh, India. Working across acrylics, watercolours, inks, oils, and botanically inspired portfolios, her practice explores the poetics of place, light, and emotion through richly textured, immersive visuals.
